Smart Watches- do you have one?
About a year ago I started wearing smartwatches. The unit I'm wearing today(Garmin 2X Solar- Tactical Edition) syncs nicely with my iPhone to receive notifications, the time, etc.
Do you have a smart watch of some type?

Mine is so smart it displays the time 24x7, it has a special recharge knob that allows me to charge it rapidly and also allows me to adjust the time. The best part is if the battery dies completely I've never had trouble recovering it.

Mine is similar, but MUCH smarter...it also displays the day and date, along with the time. And it recharges simply by me moving my wrist. Amazing.

They are commenting on smartwatches, albeit in a derisive fashion.
When I was younger, I really wanted a calculator watch*, but a strong aversion to having things on my wrist arrived before my ability to purchase one.
(*A quick search suggests it was probably a Casio CA-50; I hadn't seen BTTF back then.)
If there was a device that actually ran a decent OS for a reasonable price I might be tempted, except for the aforementioned wrist issue meaning I'd have to strap it to my ankle and stand on one leg to use it.

I had a CASIO calculator watch back in the 80s ... Does that count? Today, a normal watch that tells just the date/time.

Nice! I had an Apple watch series 9 and sold it. I wanted the Ultra, but, the cost was too prohibitive. My Garmin doesn't have as much functionality, but, it's cheaper. The Ultra is an amazing watch.

Yes it does. Nice! I like watches a lot and I'll likely collect more of them.

To answer the question in this thread's subject line, no.
I prefer not to be assimilated.

Galaxy Watch 3 for me, although I do forget to wear it. I don't really like watches / jewelry / rings when I'm at a keyboard.

Simple answer = no.
I don't even wear a watch of any description.
Are you being tracked everywhere you go?

Having had most iterations of the Galaxy phone I'm very happy with Samsung for phones, watches, and tablets.
