Slackware 12.1 Vista Dual Boot
I know there are thousands of posts on this topic and I've read many of them. I am posting this because my case is different.
I have Vista Business installed on my desktop. A while ago I tried to install openSuse but made the mistake of running the installer first in windows. After fiddling with the suse for a while I removed the partition and repaired my MBR using windows installation CD to be able to boot Vista. However I still have get the suse installer option when I boot. I tried removing it using vistaBootPRO 3.3 but it is still there.
Lately I've had enough with Vista and decided to try Slackware 12.1. I installed it and after a lot of reading managed to get the display to 1400x960. I had the windows as an option in the slackware boot menu (lilo if I am not wrong) but windows would not boot. I had to do some urgent work on my Vista and...you guessed it - I used Vista installation CD to fix the MBR and boot Vista. Before I did that I had two boot menus - I am not sure which one was first but I think the lilo would come first and if I choose windows then the windows/suse installer would come up and then if I choose windows it would fail to boot.
How do I fix this whole mess and have dual vista/slackware machine?
Thanks in advance
