Shoulda just sprayed it with the water hose.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjZcExKrfVs

If you don't want to watch the video ---

Man's dog is attacked by neighbors pitbull. Man beats dog with fists, then dish network dish, and finally after his dog has been mauled for a good while he runs inside to grab his pistol and finally shoots the dog. The owner of the pitbull says at the end, that he wished things could have been different, and when questioned as to what could have been done differently, he said maybe the man could have sprayed the dog with a hose or something.

Honestly, though.. I keep a knife on me always, and I think in that situation a knife would have been the best thing ever.

That, or a machete/kukri, or a good hammer.

He got up real close to it, close enough to beat it with his fist, he easily could have inserted the blade about middle of his chest, and slightly behind the front leg. anatomy chart of dog

I don't get annoyed by meaningless threads (I'm not saying this one is), since this is a general forum. Anything should be ok to talk about, within some boundaries obviously. But what I find annoying is people (smeeze) having to read everything (knowing in advance he won't like it) and comment how meaningless it is, or some lame int main() { return 0; } or what ever.. If you think a thread is meaningless, just leave it unread. It's super easy. I've been doing it to his kernel thread from the very beginning.

In sensible places, like England and Ontario, you can't keep a pitbull, any more than you would be allowed to keep a tiger in the back garden. Actually, I think existing ones are allowed if they are castrated and muzzled. Personally, I think the owners would profit from the same treatment.

He could have finished the pitbull with a single fist strike in the skull...

As fas as I know the nose of any dog is a very innervated region... a hard impulsive strike in it ( Oi Tsuki style... ) is enough to terminate it painlessly...

If you're a real man, you'll grab the dog's jaws as it comes at you and rip the f'n thing completely in half, and then throw the two pieces back over the fence.

... IMHO there are no real men out there then...

Don't know the value, but the clamping force of the pitbull jaws is in the tons range as far as I have read somewhere...

On the other side, Jaws are not vital points in th PitBull's anatomy... this would ammount to be as prepostrous as Oyama Masutatsu Sensei attacking the bull's horns instead of the skull... LMAO

... And I could have the Pitbull arrested by :

1. ) cannibalism
2. ) Animal cruelty
3. ) Agravated disobedience to a human being command...

Plus the civil liabilities of harming the physical integrity of that poor doggy...

... ROFL, now seriously, there should be laws to prevent such cases...
