Do you think I need to uninstall Flash to make it work? |

I watch YouTube in Chromium using HTML5.
The controls and features better than in the Flash player, too! |
I think it'll improve...
|
What will improve?
|
Flash. I don't see it doing anything in the future but getting better if it's still around, obviously. In the future, if it's still around, you'll like it. ;)

Also, I HATE HATE HATE it when web developers make the whole website and navigation in Flash. It destroys most of the standard functionality! |
Yeah it's too bad that it's so popular and widely used because it needs to be replaced.

Flash is a good use for online games, or maybe the annoying ads on web pages, but flash shouldn't be used for navigation or video...

I am very eager for Youtube to move fully to html5. Honestly, the only reason I ever made an exception to use flash, is for youtube. Other than that, no reason at all to ever use it. The games on flash are crap, and like others has stated before, navigation on a flash only site is just an abomination, and of course we haven't forgotten flash based ads.

I just have a downloader extension installed for youtube, no need for flash.
|
YouTube is HTML5 already. Just go to www.youtube.com/testtube.
I just wist that instead of using Flash by default, it would: Check if your browser supports WebM. If so, use the HTML5 + WebM player. Else check if your browser supports HTML5. If so, use the HTML5 + H.264 player. Else fall back to the Flash player. |
