shopping carts

at my work we have shopping carts right at the door .......now why is it that people will walk by the carts to ask me where we keep our carts?>

Probably the same reason why people will hunt around for another cart, rather than try to free one of two carts stuck together.

Because it takes too much effort to pull their heads out of their...um, how about a better question? How come the carts are at the door, instead of halfway in the middle of the store? Sure, that works for the people that are doing their weekly shopping list, but what about the poor bastards like me that go in for one thing, and end up with a cart full of stuff we never meant to buy? Is it fair to make us walk all the way back to the door with our arms full? For an industry that pushes last minute items in checkout lanes, it seems like a massive oversight not to have carts available around the store for shoppers like me. Also, they're missing that all powerful "munchie" dollar from teenagers...:)

The same reason people ask questions here when a man command will suffice...

They like the human interaction :) :p :)
