When I open explorer (or internet explorer) the scroll bar goes up and down like mad. I am not even touching my mouse. Has anybody come across this before or do you know what might be causing this?
Sounds like a hardware problem. I have an old optical mouse and in Linux sometimes the scroll bars on Firefox goes crazy. Perhaps I need to find a way to clean the scroll wheel, since something in there might be moving it or something. Or it could just mean that my mouse is slowly dying away.
