SCO vs IBM, Etc

I am curious to know if this case has been dismissed yet. There is a website with come details, however, there have been no updates since 2/05 which seems odd to me. My personal interest is that my company uses SCO products and literally ordered me to remove my SuSe install.

I put it back on ... but don't really want to get fired over it. :)

The case is still limping along... latest news is that IBM has compiled and handed SCO all the stuff they asked for. Nobody seams really worried that this case is going to go anywhere at this point... I'm not certain SCO actually has any money left, if your company is smart they will find a replacement for there unix needs so they aren't stuck with a product nobody will support a year from now when SCO is belly up.

Check out Groklaw for all the latest information.

The venture/vulture capital group, that bought into SCO so that they could sue over UNIX patent rights, got out of SCO a while back. Even they think it’s a lost cause.

Thanks for the updates everyone. That was kind of my attitude. Even while a snowball has a chance in Hell, I think SCO is dead and that is why I am running it anyway, besides I really doubt an IT guys would rat another, I made the mistake of mentioning it to a VP before and I wont do that again.

Moved: More suitable in General as this is not a technical question in regards to Linux.
