These are aspects of science which scare me, ... particularly..

The prospect that some Scientific/Technological knowledge known by some, might be used explicitly to harm a lot of people, scares me, and this is not a "metaphysical/philosophical" issue, with all respect i have for such issues...

I guess I need to take my own advice and seek the truth in myself, rather than from science or physics. I've seen at least two posts now telling me that I'm looking for truth in the wrong place, and I think they're both right...at least they make some sense, in that I'm misinterpreting what science is. I keep thinking of it as an answer to everything, when that's probably not the case at all...

Actually I've seen that article, and I don't find it really scary at all, but then again, maybe that's because I'm not a mechanical engineer. :D

I'm thinking I should just have this thread closed, unless potential psychological self-destruction isn't a good enough reason to have a thread closed. :(
