Safe Boot, is it worth installing on a laptop?

Has anyone heard of or use Safe Boot? What do you think of it, any problems?

There's no harm in leaving the safe boot option. It may come in handy if you have problems starting up and need to make repairs or if you need to ensure your X-Server is not running before installing graphics drivers.

I believe the OP is referring to safe boot (safeboot.com) as software to protect the laptop and not a boot option. I have heard of it but do not have any experience using the software.

If you have sensitive personal information stored on the laptop and you use it when you travel then I think software like this is a good idea.

Several of our company laptops have been stolen in the past with sensitive employee information (mine included) and so now all computer data is encrypted. I do not know what the software is since it is automatically deployed.
