I bought a basic membership ($60USD) and activated it for RH9.0. How many others paid for their distribution? I just had to pay because it is running so well. I'm totally happy with my platform. Just finished installing Gtkmm. Everything works great.

I got a RHN account for free when I bought RH 7.1. I have been lucky because it is not a 60 day account or a 6 month account. I've had it for almost 2 years now and have not paid for anything. Redhat sends me an email about once a year and asks if I still want it. I say yes

I love RH so far. In fact, I'm going to have to take back the bad stuff I said about RH9 about 2 weeks ago in a post.

I like it.

I too am satisfied with the RHN and it's updates. I just updated my kernel tonight with no problems. Rock on...

I'm still trying to figure out why MS Windows updates often took like 3 hrs to install, while any Linux updates take about two - five minutes on a cable connection.
