Apologies in advance, because I could not with certainty determine which section this should be posted in.
A question has emerged on the BSD 2-clause license. The last paragraph of that license is
Code:
The views and conclusions contained in the software and documentation are
those of the authors and should not be interpreted as representing official
policies, either expressed or implied, of the <project name> project.
What if the program being licensed is not part of a "project?" What if it's just: Bob wrote a program here it is enjoy and have a nice day? I assume removing the paragraph would make it no longer the BSD 2-clause license. So when there is no project, how does one word it? Or must one go to a different license?
Thank you.
