Question about Monitor cleaning...
Hello:
I just successfully installed my first distro and while I was hooking up a used monitor, I noticed that the screen needed some maintenance. Now, I realize that isn't a Linux-related question but: It's a Samsung Flat-Screen CRT monitor. As most of you are aware, flat-screens are made of different material than the glass used in screens of older CRT's. Thus, the cleaning methods must be different because I tried using a damp cloth to wipe some spots and/or grease-stype stains - and the marks got worse. Also, there were hints of rainbowish-colored streaking. Can anyone of you help me out? Thanks, Neo_Tux |
Please don't post the same questions in more than one fourm, I have reported this post, expect it to be closed.

The question is more for General, in fact, but in Hardware there's an answer. So please send all replies to http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...readid=215034. This thread is closed.
