I still want to know how long until the establishment goes for the ultimate solution and try to have him killed in some way. Trump is giving the finger to both parties essentially, and the Republicans would rather have Shillery because she is essentially in Wall St.'s pocket. All other candidates have dropped out, but I am surprised I haven't seen endorsements from the establishment (rep) - endorsing Shillery at this point.

It is a matter of time also until Trump has an 'unfortunate tragic accident', or is just outright eliminated - assassinations would be a resort. Whether you agree or not with Trump, or how 'authentic' he seems, the good thing about him that I have indicated earlier in this thread is that since he is not being funded by any parties and using his own funds he does not have to fall in line and is pretty much now putting the magnifying glass on others in office. Something must be done - and most likely will happen by the design of the establishment to either outright block him by changing the rules - or if he does make it to the White House, either force him to quit or again I wouldn't put it passed them that they wouldn't try to just get rid of him...

So unlike any other candidate in recent memory, Donald Trump owns his own talking points; is not saddled with a stable of credentialed advisors schooled in three decades of policy error and failure; and has the hutzpah to trust his own instincts——many of which, especially on foreign policy, are exactly the rebuke that Imperial Washington and its legions of parasites and racketeers so richly deserve.-David Stockman

I back Trump now, and here is why.

So since Cruz is now out, nobody else left. Jeb refuses to endorse Trump, which is a good thing actually because that means he isn't tainted by Bush. Still, other republicans are trying any way to prevent him, even though at this point, he is the nominee. Kasich hinting at possibly 'meeting at Washington' sounds to me that others are trying to find a way to manipulate the rules at this point. I am not surprised that maybe they are willing to go as far as violating the Constitution. At this point, I support Trump out of principle, there is NOTHING legally the establishment can do about it; except at this point publicly endorse a dem.

So, endorse Shillery, or violate the Constitution. It just shows now how clear they are devoid of reality and just how impudent and arrogant they are.

He is now the nominee, so what can they really do?

When other candidates were still in a week or so ago, I recall Paul Ryan Speaker of The House was interviewed at one point, and was asked who he would support? He indicated whoever it would be he would support. Fast-forward, Trump is the nominee , he is asked again, and suddenly (and I am paraphrasing here)

"Uh well, I am not entirely sure, but I think I will not support Trump"

But earlier he was asked whoever it was no matter what, he would throw his support, he was even called on it (video) - outright contradicting himself... So he ends the interview... Hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Again, out of principle Trump won fair-and-square at this point so I support him. The establishment needs to shut up, and take it , and then also bend over and take it and take it deep, and love it.

This is the funniest and best thing that has happened to these twerps that I could have ever imagined.

Surrealistically they can just pull someone from behind a curtain at the last second to suit the agendas. Like now introducing Barack Obama? Must take faith to vote for "people" and not policies. Sign me up for Mars!

They have nobody to pull, their only option again is endorse Shillery or pull some behind the curtain shenanigans and violate the constitution declaring Trump an invalid nominee. They have no real legal argument nor the electoral college has any way to reject Trump, because if at the last minute they just insert someone who dropped out all hell will break loose, the public obviously is watching, so is the rest of the world and rightfully so. A country touting itself on just how it's democracy is the best , lets put that to the real test now shall we?

I haven't read up on the Constitution in a long ass time, but if someone can find me a valid section that allows arbitrarily rejecting a nominee even though he is the only one legally left and in a way has a mandate supported by the public, I'll drop my support too then. I would imagine it would have to have very specific guidelines too though right? I.E. is said nominee incapacitated physically? Did said candidate break any laws that might disqualify the nomination? Is he currently under investigation right now? Are there any pending serious legal actions? Is nominee of sound mind (fiery rhetoric does not count) Is he competent (this coming for the institution that runs this game - ironic).

Also again the other irony, someone like Trump can get this far, why? Again money, but the rub is he does not NEED to bow down to the establishment, because he has the monetary capability to refuse to bend to their will.

I see that now he has pretty much cleared the field, he has dropped all his rabble rousing rhetoric aimed at grass roots specific interest groups, and has pared down to one basic message - "Competence". Similar to Generals being elected, he is aware that an aura of competence and popularity can and has often won the day. How well "competence" will stand up when he is confronted with four (4) failures for which he applied for and got bailed out by Bankruptcy Tax Dollars remains to be seen but it is likely his supporters will overlook that "little snag". His odds may even be good, given the "quality" of alternatives. I happen to think all the Republican Horror is as phony as a 3 Dollar Bill. They got their popular dog and they're gonna run 'im. The Republican Party, despite all their Pavlovian slogans, is still The Party of the Rich, and I'm sure the Old Guard firmly believes they can manage The Donald if for no other reason that if he makes it he will be a "duck out of water" and require advice and assistance from those who have experience with Law and Politics. It ain't Private Enterprise, even if heavily influenced by those at the top of it. In that regard, he is a member of the club, a good ol' boy.

I know since 7am to now 10am. The Sundays News channels cannot shut up about him. So.

It seems the news is giving him the popularity like a serial murder trial case involving murder of old ladies on social security.

Just dial in any "Face the Nation" or any other news outlet. You cannot beat free advertisement.

Some in the media are saying that this will be the nastiest presidential election in United States history!! They may be right if it is a contest between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump!! However, and of course I could be very wrong about this, I believe that Bernie Sanders will end up being the democratic nominee because Hillary Clinton is indicted or just flames out!! The " hostile tension in the air " on Staten Island is already so thick you can almost walk on it!!

I hope that this presidential election does not ignite a civil war within the United States!! Human frustration can turn very violent and violence does not bow to rational logic!!
