cousinlucky, try this formatting next time:

Quote:
You have Hillary who has called black teens or black kids super predators, you have Donald Trump who’s openly racist. We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn’t make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison. So, what is this country really standing for?

Actually it would've been more correct to use the "quote=Colin_Kapernick" convention but since Fixit7**(see edit)** does use that convention sometimes, it is my assumption that he changed up because the Forum rejects posts that consist only of a quote or quotes, requiring some User input. Therefore as presented, one would commonly conclude that the User is in agreement with the quoted statement. If this is not so it is a good lesson as to why this Forum has such rules - clarity and the requirement for adults to take responsibility for their statements.

** Edit - My sincere apologies to Fixit7 and the group. In my haste I took the quote to be his when it really belonged to cousinlucky. So as witness to my sincerity, rather than just correcting it as if I hadn't made the mistake, I left it in and correct it here along with my apologies.

Every individual in these United States is supposed to have the liberty to have and espouse their own beliefs!! But in reality if your beliefs or positions " go against the herd " you will be vilified relentlessly!! I am proud to be good " human being " but I am ashamed of some of the things that my government does on a daily basis!! Right is right, and wrong is wrong; there should not be any exceptions!!
However there are many people in this world that literally get away with murder, sometimes every single day!! What kind of a vile human being would I be if I killed every one that disagreed with my way of thinking?? Human beings kill one another over any petty reason and literally think nothing of it!! What does that say about our species?? My government kills and tortures people every day without any legal justification; but who is going to stop it?? " The Herd " insists that every one go along with it and if you do not you will suffer the consequences! All over the world people are suffering miserable lives at the hands of their oppressors which has been going on with our species since our inception on this planet!!

I woke up this morning and New York City still exists so I will go about my business!! Someday soon humanity may kill this entire planet; and for what??

Well, gentlepeople, when you consider "how many billions of dollars are spent on political campaigns," stop for a moment and consider who(!) gets(!!!) all that money! Yup ... "the Media."

The US Ministry of Propaganda.

During any election season, media makes a bloody fortune.

However, it is just that: propaganda. And it should be taken ignored as such.

Why is the U.S. providing all of these nations security commitments, military equipment and promises to go to war? And reassuring governments desperately afraid that they might have to do more for their own defense? Washington should insist that its friends take over responsibility for their own security.– Doug Bandow, "Donald Trump Has Put America’s Allies on the Hot Seat. Good." [August 24, 2016]

Just going to the supermarket or being upon public transportation can result in being loudly exposed to very heated arguments about the political candidates!! Donald Trump's demonizing is now Hillary's tactic as evidenced here:http://nypost.com/2016/09/10/clinton...f-deplorables/

Thumbs up up.edu

I've said it before, and will again but never to exclude us all: morons ; if you want power (even if at first to change the world) you have some real mental issues or just more gluttony "gene!"

Yes and now that some 90% of the Media is owned by just four (4) corporations it cracks me up (when it doesn't sadden me) when people refer to "The Liberal Media". It's almost as "funny" when people making less than $200,000.00 per year conclude that so-called Liberals are out to get them while so-called Conservatives really really have their interests in mind.

Considering many corporations hire and bank offshore and several since Reagan pay ZERO taxes, get tax refunds and billions in bail outs.... I'd have to say. "Yeah. Seems so" Thank you Lobby System and Supreme Court packing <sarc>

75 former ambassadors sign a letter stating that Trump doesn't know his mouth from a hole in the ground, on foreign policy.
57 of them are former ambassadors picked by GOP presidents
18 more are former ambassadors picked by Dem. presidents
The letter, blasted Donald Trump's understanding of foreign affairs and key U.S. geopolitical interests.

"[Donald Trump] is entirely unqualified to serve as President and Commander-in-Chief. He is ignorant of the complex nature of the challenges facing our country, from Russia to China to ISIS to nuclear proliferation to refugees to drugs, but he has expressed no interest in being educated," the letter said.

What, pray tell, exactly ARE the qualifications to be President of the United States? There are more qualifications to do the job I do every day than to be any of the elected US government shills.

To paraphrase William F. Buckley, Jr. "I would rather be ruled by any 10 people chosen at random from the phone book than any one picked by the elites."

People who think this is about Trump, or because of Trump, are completely missing the point of why he is drawing such large crowds. It is also why Bernie Sanders got as far as he did with people by promising them candy every day, although we can see that was all a dog and pony show to make it look like Mrs. Clinton worked so hard for the nomination.

I wonder how many bathrooms are in Bernie's new mansion by the lake? I bet he doesn't clean any of them, fine upstanding socialist that he is, he probably has several illegal aliens doing it for him. Talk about feeling the bern!
