Why? The same reasons voting for people is still popular (even tho in over a thousand years smart people's predictions that it won't work still know it don't) people want money and power, gods and clods...

It won't work???
Yeah, you are right. Democracy is the worst form of government ever invented - except for all the others.
(That would be Winston Churchill's statement, in case you didn't know...)

Yeah, I've heard that line that voting is worthless, especially in the face of The Electoral College. Shoot! I've even subscribed to it but then I was a fetus at the time. It may piss you off or frustrate you that we get often stuck voting for the "lesser of two evils" or even that the most inspiring ones get blocked (or assassinated) but consider the alternative. Do you really want the WORST of 2 alternatives? Would the US and maybe the World be some different if, say, JFK or Nixon hadn't been elected? I rather think so.

Donald Trump is out there to be a lightning-rod for popular discontent, and to ultimately deflect votes to "Clinton, The Sequel."

However, it is becoming increasingly clear that neither candidate is resonating with what is now become the majority of voters: the twentysomethings and thirtysomethings.

You have Hillary who has called black teens or black kids super predators, you have Donald Trump who’s openly racist. We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn’t make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison. So, what is this country really standing for?-Colin Kapernick

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—President Barack Obama defended his decision on Wednesday to issue a payment of five billion dollars to Mexico to compel that nation to retain custody of Donald J. Trump.

To be more precise, she referred to gangs as "super predators" - and her statement (which I have heard in the video) was very clearly about criminal gangs, with no mention of race.
And if you want to read race into it, for your own purposes, it sounded more like she was thinking of latino gangs, since she mentioned "connections to cartels".
Furthermore, any normal person who is affected by a criminal gang such as the ones Hillary was talking about, would certainly consider them "predators".

To TxLonghorn, sir those words came from quarterback Colin Kapernick!! The Star Spangled Banner reads:

O! say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner, O! long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country, should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war's desolation.
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the Heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave![19]

The discourse of this election is fracturing the sexes as well as the races and ethnic groups of these United States; I, for one, am wondering just where all of this anger is finally heading!!

BTW I don't know about anyone else, especially someone so distant and in the public eye as Hillary, but I delete emails all the time just like I throw away old snail mail. I don't see how that is in and of itself indicative of a crime. Seems like underhanded, lackluster, spacious innuendo to me, as bad or worse than the Jane Fonda Myth and Swiftboat oh yeah and BTW Obama is not a US citizen and is a Muslim with a Socialist agenda. Yeah, right.

It becomes indicative of a crime when there are people who want to read your personal email, and they don't get to because you deleted it. So they make up BS about how you MUST be hiding something, because... um, well, because you deleted your emails.

I didn't see the quote marks.
I guess he's not as bright as he thinks he is...
