Like I've said before:

"Yes, you know that 'corporations spend billions of dollars on elections.'"

Now, once again stop and think what they spend that money for.

You guessed it! The Media.

Will any of the coverage that you see "bite the hand that feeds them?" No-o-o-ooo!!

Therefore, take "media coverage" with a pound ton of salt. It's not even worth what they paid for it . . .

At a store this morning the female clerk said to me that it is just disgusting that children listen to " the filth of the presidential campaign " and she is quite right!! Both of the two major party candidates belong in a closed cesspool!! Neither one of them should be the President of the United States!!

An example:

At this point, my choice for the next debate moderator is Jerry Springer.

Not only that, but the nutcases retained a controlling majority of the U.S. Congress!

So now to the suddenly more critical question (and this MAY take a new thread): what countries will gladly accept refuges from a suddenly more repressive and insane U.S.A.?

I love my country, but I dread where the next four years will take it: I see nothing good to come from this.

Many people in the US voted for what they perceived as something different and radical - rather than "the same" (in this case a Clinton). They will of course still get "the same", but that's another story...

Political dynasties lost out this time, a billionaire businessman won. It makes little difference - it's abundantly clear who the rulers are.

On Twitter, I'm seeing speculation that there might soon be more rightward shifts with the upcoming elections in Europe. With Brexit and Trump being the first and second of a larger trend.

"Trump Force One", Trump's Boeing 757 might be full of 'celebs' coming your way if the 'Lefty's' who pledged to leave with a Trump victory keep their word! Lol

Don't be afeared of the Donald. Like Stalin , Mao, Pol Pot. He is only 1 man.

Be afeared of the millions of people who put him in power.

Let's see if this dog just barks. Or can hunt like he claims to.

Well, my prediction proved to be correct . . .

Donald Trump just might be the first person elected to the Office who did not come from politics or the military. The GOP didn't know what the hell he was, but couldn't stop him, and the Democrats still haven't got a clue.

Hillary ... colorless Hillary ... was a Senator, a Secretary of State, a First Lady ... is obviously not in good health right now ... and represented everything that nobody wanted, specifically including the presumption that somehow she would win, say if she hired Bruce Springsteen to sing his Born in the USA concert (in a state that she also lost). She pushed all the right and proper buttons and pulled all the right and proper levers, just like dozens of professional politicians had done in the many decades before. She did quite well, mopping up the West Coast, which today is stuffed with people who are here on various forms of non-immigrant visas. But the gigantic sea of red at [URL="http://www.politico.com/2016-election/results/map/president?lo=ut_b1"] says all that needs to be said.

Nevertheless, Mr. Trump is about to re-discover what every Officeholder soon knows: that the position has absolute military authority but no civil authority. You have a board of directors consisting of over 700 people, none of whom you can "yer FIRED!" This board is besotted with the corruption that money brings. You won the election by making promises that you will now be expected to be able to keep. What sort of leader will this man turn out to be?

Filmmaker Michael Moore called it several weeks ago: http://michaelmoore.com/trumpwillwin/

Please will people in North America stop comparing Brexit voters with Trumpkin! I voted for Brexit but like, I suspect, many British Conservative Party supporters, I consider the US Republicans to have become a mixture of demented ideologues, religious bigots, misogynists, and racists.
