Promiscuous Mode

Manufacturer ARRIS
Model Number BGW210-700

Every time I do a reboot my modem goes into promiscuous mode such as:

P0000-00-00T00:00:26.170231 L6 kernel: device eth1 entered promiscuous mode
P0000-00-00T00:00:26.230045 L6 kernel: device wl0 entered promiscuous mode

And there is no date and time

I ran a ifconfig for sniffers which came back normal

ifconfig -a

I think asking us here is a waste of time. You should be asking your modem manufacturer. Modems might have to do promiscuous mode until they connect. Stick detailed questions to your top secret modem manufacturer (It must be top secret, you won't tell us!).
