Question process scheduling problem..


hi friends..
i got a question..regarding process scheduling..

If two process arrive at CPU with equal priorities and burst time,remaining time i.e all the other factors same, which one will be processed first.

hi sundialsvcs,

i dont think its unpredictable,
there must be some method/criteria/parameter or algo to break tie b/w processes.

anyway..its not a homework.
it is an interview question of s/w firm.
