I have no idea what the password is for my isp. In windows, I use that "Save Password" thing, but I hate browsing in windows. I have 2 modems, one is an external serial, the other is an internal winmodem. I tried calling myself (I have two phone lines), but I am not sure how to setup windows so it will show me the password that's being used. How can do this, and how can I do it in Linux?
the easiest way would be to email your isp and ask for password. if however you want to try calling yourself(need 2 phone lines) to get the password then look at the ppp howto on tldp.org
The email thing's out of question... it's my dad's isp, and he's not about to give me the password to use for Linux (he told me to delete it months ago), and the PPP-Howto won't be of much help until I get another computer, which might be in the near future (Windows computer w/ password calls Linux computer). Anyone know how to get the password using Windows?

so your dad doesnt think linux is a good idea, and you think the way to convince him is go behind his back, not only showing him you cant be trusted but also that the linux community would help you go behind his back.
