Power Supply
I recently had a power supply failure.
I am trying to get new one, but am unsure of what kind to get. I would try to get the details off the power supply itself, but I do not have it in my posession anymore(Don't ask why, Long Story). Anyway is there anyone who can suggest what king to get wattage-wise and what not. OK, I have: an ATX case, Pentium 2, floppy drive, hard drive, CD-ROM, NIC, modem, soundcard, and video card. If you need more info, ask me. (Oh I also can't find the MOBO manual, Life Sucks) Thanks in advance |
probably a regular ATX 230 watt or more power supply should be adequate enough for a system of that type.

Too much power
Would too much power overload it, like 300 watt?
I got this idea from the eletronics teacher at my tech school. |
as far as i know, it shouldn't affect it, cause most components on inside distribute what power they need to operate normally, and don't or won't take more power than needed.
