Post a picture of your computer setup

There's already a desktop screenshot thread, I just thought it would be interesting to have one that involved the computer itself. Who here uses a prebuilt computer? Self built? Specs....

I don't know y anyone would by a prebuilt machine! It is so much more expensive! and ppl like IBM have proprietry parts so when u wanna upgrade u cant cause tose size parts can only be bought from IBM and by that time they have made a new size, so you have to buy a whole new computer!

Anyway i'm into case modding and will post a pic of mine soon but not yet,

Heres my config!

AMD 2500XP
Gigabyte GA-7VA MoBo
512MB DDR333 ram
20GB HDD
40GB HDD
64MB GeForce 2 MX400 (which will get upgraded soon)

Main Linux machine:
http://w1.132.comhem.se/~u13217875/pic1.jpg

Recipe for a better life: remove all but one drawer in your desk. Put the computer in the drawer. Put all loose cables besides the computer. Now you have no cables on the floor and vacuum cleaning is so much easier.

You can see that the temperature at the CPU cooler is 33.6 C and the room temperature is 22.4 C.

I thought this could be of some interest:
http://w1.132.comhem.se/~u13217875/pic2.jpg

That is an Ericsson product that didn't make it. It's my NAT firewall / DHCP server / DNS. It runs a stripped Linux and has an AMD 486 clone, 32MB flash and 32 MB RAM.

There's also a Windows 2000 machine (that's soon moving out) in the room and another Linux machine.

Regards
Martin

Here are some pics of my office. Right now there are two computers in this room. I also have a laptop sitting in a bag beside one of the desks. I will soon have a few more boxes and a KVM switch

Right now it's just a nice place for my wife and I to sit and mess around on the computers. She uses the XP box and I use the Slack box (recently she's been moving to the slack box for fun....and she likey).

Since my stuff kinda leaves my room and heads into the rec-room I'm going to have to take a few pictures and the rec-room is a mess (I just got given another 6 computers...all P1-P2's but they are going to make great test boxes...I've already got ideas brewing) anyway, I'll take pics tomorrow after I clean and post

Here are my two primary PCs in Antec Gemstone cases. Had planned on buying the purple and red versions too but model was discontinued. Handle on top makes them really easy to move around. Have a couple others -- OK, maybe about four more -- but they're not as pretty. Those Mac addicts got nothing on me.
