^^Ahh, my experience was on a plant in Decatur (I think). It was visible from a boy scout camp (!!!) when it was deactivated, but it started back up last year(!!!!!!). Anyway that was the towers I was looking for.
Anyway, on topic:http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/5765/untitlediv9.jpg

3D desktop is done with either Compiz, Beryl, or the new CompizFusion. I have no idea how to get them setup, but there should be a guide at www.opencompositing.org

They're nuclear plants (there's four in the picture), but the site is not in Michigan. It's in New York.

Here's a picture of D.C. Cook (my former workplace) on this page --> http://reliafree.sourceforge.net/

My sharing for the day.
Ubuntu Feisty, Beryl & XGL with Scaled_Black_Mod Emerald Theme, Wii Black theme from gnome-look.org, Wallpaper: http://www.endeffect.com/gallery/ Project October... apparently Google picked up a temp folder, because I can't find a link to the widescreen wallpaper on the site.
