Screenshot!!!!!!!

http://www.pixellany.com/photos/LQ/screenshot.jpg

Actually "a screen which should be shot" sony G400 which flickers and jitters and on which I cannot set the brightness or contrast.
Rounding out the picture: OS by Mepis, keyboard and mouse by Microsoft (these have GOT to go......), DSL modem from Verizon, telephone from ATT (anyone old enough to remember when they sold phones?.. ) speaker from Yamaha (the motorcycle company) statues from Egypt, funny cup from the Olcott House (B&B in Duluth, Minn--across the street from my grandmother's house)

And.......stickies from my wife--who lets me use this computer on occassion....

There!!! almost 1.5 years here and I finally did it......

My screenshot is in my signature, it has taken me years to achieve this look, well, okay, weeks. But I love it, hopefully I won't screw up any time soon and have to reinstall.

Check it out

Cool, glad you like them. They are mostly from one iconset, with a couple changed, the link to the iconset is:

Have fun!

How do you make the cube translucent, it doesn't seem to work for me.

in the Beryl Settings-Manager:
Desktop - Desktop Cube - Transparency

that's where I set it.
Some features don't work 100% here either...
but it sure is a cool window manager!!

Yeah, I like it when the window sets on fire and burns away into nothing.

I had not tried that one yet.

beryl really freaks me out. I took the week off and on monday I thought
I might try and get 3d desktop working... and now I find myself playing
with my desktop for two days in a row. Have't done that since windows98.
