Dude, no eye candy needed.

What is that, 4 6-core HT-enabled CPUs?

And 64 GiB RAM?? (may have miscalculated from top's KiB figure )

What's this beast of a machine used for, anyway?

4x 12 core Magny-Cours AMD's...and yes, 64 GB RAM. It's not the biggest machine we have in terms of RAM, sadly...we have a few 24 core (2x 12 core AMD) with 128 GB (256+ is still a bit too expensive heh)

It's a PostgreSQL database machine. I would say what customer of ours uses it, but I'm not really supposed to...suffice it to say it's a large state government in the U.S. =\

Well then it's possible I'm your database administrator.

I no longer work directly for the government...I did years ago, but I've gone corporate haha.

I'm in the Air Force. Are you contracted out for the computer networks we use?

Ahh, no, sorry. This is all civilian-side government stuff. I was in the Marines once upon a time long time ago, but the days of my youth are swiftly vanishing heh.

There's an Air Force base here that has some very technically minded people when it comes to computer security...the Dean of the University I graduated from pushed me to go apply for a contractor position with them, but I never got around to it.

Rocket357 - I just sent you an email so we don't clutter up this thread with off topic messages. Back to the subject of screenshots.....
