Just post the URL to the image file itself, not a web page with the image.

Strange, I don't see "it". Maybe using an add blocker (Opera + AdSweep for me) makes them go away.

I've just tried Fluxbox. So I tought it would be nice to share my coffee themed fluxbox desktop also 9-) It's just that coffee makes the world a much more happier place heh

I happened to be using Chromium when I viewed thad, it doesn't have an ad blocker :(

There is nothing wrong with using image hosting, just right-click the picture and choose "copy image URL" or something like that, and post that in [img] tags.

ICONS!!! Oh my Gosh I could not handle that. I'm a desktop clean freak and refuse to have even one icon... much less 80+++++

I try to keep my desktop clean, too. I try to keep it minimal. I have 7 desktop icons on my Windows desktop, and only four on both of my Arch systems. When this machine is booted into Ubuntu, there are only 3, I think. :\

I agree, icons are the work of Satan. But, seriously, I hate icons.
