I know what you mean. I prefer not to use a background image and a simple theme on the laptop, because it is more business like and also the laptop only has a 900MHz Pentium III and 256MB RAM, so I must conserve resources.

I was just kidding Pat :)

But I think a simple polished blue wallpaper wont hurt and also looks even more professional.

I analyze failure and repair data to estimate parameters of the distribution(s) describing system and component failure times. This is often refered to as Weibull analysis (although there are many other distributions used). Hence, co-workers started saying, "Have that Weibullguy analyze the data." But, yeah, Wallodi Weibull (who derived the Weibull distribution) was from Sweden.

IGF i don't get it, why the so called need to not turnoff for a while? Nice wallpaper though.

I like NFL, have been playing as Warrick Dunn in Atlanta Falcons, have perfect playoffs 16-0, now into Divisions. :)

Here's my contribution:

It's from my lappy. It's pretty much stock Ubuntu 6.10 aside from a custom theme.

Crito 01-24-2007 12:55 AM

Well, for me it's because I use my PC for everything, basically. I don't own a TV set or a stereo system. :o Perhaps that is a little nuts... :D

No real reason, it just stays on all the time. Like Crito said above, *most* of my TV viewing is on my PC, and I don't own a stereo either, so all my music, etc. is listened to by PC.

How do you get TVTime Snapshots to show up in your screenshots? I've tried to do this before, but its just black.

Thanks
