I guess its time to repost mine. Sadly, my linux box doesn't have X, yet. Will you guys settle for a Windows desktop instead?

http://phaux.zapto.org/ss/screen7.JPG (2048x1536, 179KB)

visit that directory for other screen shots. Windows SS only, till I have X on mine.

Hey Phaux

that's cool ... by the way how did you make the window see through? Pretty neat on XP... I have to use it at work, but need some custom looks ... What ideas do you have for XP?

Plus thank you for the gkrellm ... I will look for it in FC4 Gnome... if not I will install it like you said.

Thanks

The transperent window trick is easy. Its one of the neat settings nVidia graphics cards have to offer. I use it sometimes, and it doesn't have much of an effect on speed. There are other programs out there that do it, just google it.

This one's out of date ... I'm running a very very fast XFCE setup now, but I have the same wallpaper and XMMS plugin still so you get the idea.

*** Updated ***

Here's my XFCE desktop. As you can see I like things very, very plain and simple.
