Pasting text and graphics from email

Is there a way to paste text and pictures from an email into
another document ?

I tried it with Libre Writer, but it only showed the text.

Recommend you ask moderators to move your question to Linux General or Linux Software as opposed to this non technical forum. In those other forums your question will get the proper exposure where people are looking to provide technical assistance.

Perhaps you can provide additional information about how you're encountering this problem. I myself use select, copy, paste and that usually works. If text or graphics are an attachment, then things are different and I save the attached file.

i think a clipboard manager can be used for that; some have the option to hold 1 image in memory.

If I want to copy a picture from an e-mail I usually right-click, then Save As from the menu, and for text I select and copy.

The email I wanted to copy text and pics from contained a lot of pics, so saving the pics individually would not work.

I could view the pics but not the associated text with it.
