Pan Usage - Just a Joke
Have you witnessed something stuck to a non-stick pan,
or any type of pan abuse? If so, please call 1-800-pan-help to help stop pans from being abused! Pan Lives Matter! ;) |
Did anyone else click thinking it would be about the newsreader?
|
I did, as I used Pan for years until usenet became useless. (I loved usenet.)
Me, I don't use "non-stick" pans. I use cast-iron pans that I inherited from my mother. They are as non-stick as it gets. |

Just for grins and giggles, I tried calling 1-800-pan-help. Nada, zilch, nothing.
Your mileage may vary. |
Perhaps I should put more than one smiley face in the title of the post.
Although there is also a smiley face at the bottom of the post. |

A darned shame, really. Back in the olden days, when I was a young 'un, usenet was where it was at. |

I have 2 cast iron pans, and 1 stainless steel - they do everything, and better. And they can take all sorts of heavy duty (ab)use. |
upvote cast iron

I've had good experience with Scanpans. They work and they keep working, but you need to use them at very low heat or they break.

PTFE and enough of various metals can indeed be toxic. Yet I haven't scratched, etc., non-stick pots and pans, as long as I didn't use metal utensils with the non-stick stuff.

pam usage is a joke (on Slackware?)
I thot a Slack n00b (or hate_troll) had misspelled 'pam'

From ddGoo, This isn't available, so I'll buy the GothamSteel one constantly advertised on GSN (using the $20 I was saving up for another netbook) |
