package w32api not working


hi i have installed cygwin 1.7.1 in windows 7 64-bit and trying to install ns2.35-rc3. it says w32api not present on your system but i have installed them in cygwin. pls tell me

Spell out your words, please. And this is not really a Linux question, since this is Cygwin on Windows, but a VERY brief Google search turns up:

...the complete how-to on installing NS2 in Cygwin. You don't say where you got that NS2 package from, or how you're trying to build/install it. You may want to try redoing the NS2 installation and make sure each step is followed. Since this isn't Linux, I'm not sure how much folks here will be able to tell you.
