OK, so this is the deal:
I bought old T1000SE computer ca. mont ago, and I have continually kept it plugged on wall (it also recharges battery that way), and yesterday I noticed that it wont start. I'm afraid it overcharged itself, who knows about technology dating from 1988?
Battery or DC IN leds are not flashing, unless I take battery away when DC IN starts to light, but it wont offcourse start because circle is not complete (you know...).
It is quite rare computer, and I'm afraid to try completing the circle by taping cord from + to - in that place where battery was in case motherboard (where everything is) takes too hight voltage and gets destroyed.
New batteries for my baby are damn expensive (thanks to canceled production: 52$
).
Is there any way I can run around this problem or make battery work again?
And no, I cant re-cell it, as it's normal NiCd standard...
OH PLEASE GOD HELP ME!!!
