O'reilly - 'Running Linux' edition comparisons?

I have Running Linux, 3rd edition. I finally decided to sit down and read through the whole thing. I know that there is a 4th Edition out. And I am curious if there is enough new material to put the 3rd Edition down and go ahead and get the 4th Edition.

I may have answered my own question when I came across this line in the 'Linux Versus Windows NT' section:

"Specifically, Microsoft's Windows NT is becoming very popular for server computing."

Uh... that seems sort of like saying - People are putting down their kerosene lamps in favor of the new incandescent light bulbs.

For those of you who might jump in here and start commenting on Windows NT, please note that this thread is not about that. It's ONLY about the level of outdatedness of the 3rd Edition of this book.

Any comments about a comparison between the book editions are welcome.

Thanks.

The fourth edition of Running Linux delves deeper into installation, configuring
the windowing system, system administration, and networking. A solid foundation text for
any Linux user, the book also includes additional resources for dealing with special
requirements imposed by hardware, advanced applications, and emerging technologies.
Whether you are using Linux on a home workstation or maintaining a network server,
Running Linux will provide expert advice just when you need it.
I have the 4th edition in PDF. this is what the book says about itself.

The basics of Linux change very little.

A lot of if concerns the installation process, and that is becomming more and more automated (and less choices during install as a result), so most changes will be in that area.

I saw very little change between 2nd and 3rd edition, so I am still using the 2nd edition myself and I have no plans for the 4th edition purchase.
