Novel XGL

hey i dont no if everyone has seen yet but novel has some stunning demos of its new xgl based desktops. this stuff looks great and with all of M$'s talk of Vista having great interface i somewhat doubt that they will have things looking as good as that spinning cube.

http://www.novell.com/linux/xglrelease/

dont no if i can post that, sorry in advance if its not allowed.
But this does look great and cant wait to have it on my computer. what do you all think?

Maybe I'm old-school, but it looks like more eye candy that gets in the way of getting real work done. I don't even like the new transparency in KDE 3.5. I turned it on for about 15 minutes, and realized it was more annoying than anything else.
