No other place to turn...
Sorry it's a windows question, but it does relate to Linux if you wanna see where it started here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...5&pagenumber=1
But i don't know where else to turn for the help! ok, weirdest thing.... i'm back at my computer now, been on spring break. I got some boot disks made in the mean time... My computer will boot into the boot disks and eventually (after 6 disk reads) i can get into the recovery console. It asks me to choose what i want to recover. It only gives me the choice of c:\windows of course. So i choose that one. It then asks for the administrator password. I type in the password that i used to log onto my administrator and it says its not the right password. So then i tried the other two passwords that i use for various stuff incase i forgot it.... no luck. I tried the original bios pw, just in case, nothin. I then tried just hitting enter at the advice of my friend to see if it would bypass it incase i didn't set one or wasn't set yet... NO LUCK. What is the deal?? Is there a standard password i don't know about? I'm sooo confused why my password that it was before all this happen wont work! Can anyone help or have any ideas! THANK YOU! Enjoi. -Tek |

It's a kind of double post.. But in fact it's another problem. Windows one, that's why I'm moving it to General.
