I installed a NEC TFT monitor no later than last week.
Redhat 8.0 recognized it first as a Generic standard TFT screen, and in the "Display" menu of Redhat desktop I then had to define it by chosing the right driver which was listed :
NEC TFT LCD 1525M

Easy isn't it ?

Need to install monitor drivers for Suse Linux.

Where do I go to download the installation? Can I go to the Redhat website?

Signed, Newbie.

Could you be more accurate when writing "download the installation".
Which distro do you use, what brand is your monitor ?

I'm guessing you made the common window's user mistake, there really isn't a "driver" to "download" you just have to configure redhat to use your hardware. In the display menu like membrax mentioned you can just pick your monitor and redhat will use the right settings, if your specific model isn't listed than try some similiar ones ie another LCD that does xxx by yyy resolution and is 15" or whatever size yours is
