Names of free songs that came with Windows XP?

Hi.

I remember a number of years back when I was using Windows XP, there were free songs on it.
Can someone tell me the titles. I remember there was one from Beethoven, another from Talking Heads and a jazz number titled something like 'highway...'?

Yeah, remember those--never listened, though. This "Yahoo answer" seems to suggest that the tracks were Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Highway blues, and Like humans do.

I very much doubt the tracks are "free." Microsoft has surely paid for being able to distribute them, and you paid for them when (if) you paid for Windows.

New Stories (Highway Blues), Beethoven Symphony #9 (Scherzo). I think I saw an extra song on another machine, though.

Beethoven's music should be free to perform/print/redistribute, but the recording of actual performance probably isn't free (I'm not very familiar with performance rights).

Me neither--but I meant "as a whole," the songs that come along the OS as samples aren't completely free. I guess one is more or less free to whistle them, but I doubt if one is free to share the audio files over the web.

The 'extra' track would have been David Byrne- Like Humans Do. IIRC its on not on XP SP2 and SP3 versions.
