guess, what? billgates came into a chatroom i was in and a conversation started about his operating system. i he was all defending his monopoly and everything with saying his people have a choice to buy what they want stuff and i made some suggestions(although he probably didnt give a sh*t)
i whispered him and told him what we all believe here: that the open source project is holy, that he should stay away from linux, i suggested that he make an open source kernel and put his proprietory junk on it, like mac os x, then he can appeal to the open source community and people wouldnt hate him, and i also told him to stop holding the nations computers back with is inefficient os's (after i let him go he left the chatroom and everyone said there little "i'll see you in hell mr.gates..."'s) |
First of all I believe anyone is entitled to have & voice his/her own opinion & perception.

Holyness aint one of the pillars of Open Source development. And AFAIK no sane person will disallow billg from stepping into the Linux' waters. The more diverse micro$ofts' attention, the better (divide & rule, eh?). Quote:

I guess u aint doin no professional work involving different agencies & companies. Sure, I aint no fan of Clippy, but being able to choose which tasks I perform on what platform more efficiently Im glad to have both Microsoft and Linux. The standarization Microsoft has brought, however despicable from ure POV, still saves me time & money. And money buys me time to support projects that advertise good usage of linux solutions within the corporate world. *Anyway, I don't think it was billg, but I couldnt resist answering anyway :-] |
i dont know if anyone would actually try to fake bill gates, let alone on a microphone. (who would want to pose as him anyway, lol)
it may not have been him, but then again the entire room was convinced. |
