MSCONFIG for Win2k


Is there an equivilent program to MSCONFIG for win2k?

actually if you copy the msconfig exe from xp onto a floppy disk you can run it right from a floppy on 2k, if you don't have xp I think you can do the same from win98

Another option is a free third party program. I like:

Works great with W2K

Start -> Run -> msinfo32

That will give you all the information you need. Also has some configuration stuff as well.

Also I would recommend using the MMC as well. It can be pretty powerful and useful once a person knows how to utilize it.

And there is always tweakUI, but if I remember right it can be a bit of trouble to find on msft website so head over to www.hotfiles.com and see if they have it, or www.downloads.com
