MS Word 2003 did not like my T-shirt today

I've been using MS Word for years and except for the occasional BSOD it has hardly ever given me trouble.
But today it drove me up the walls as it simply refused to apply a style to a piece of copied text

I think it did not like the Slackware T-shirt that I received yesterday and was wearing today

Ccd

No, you must have been working on something important.

The Microsoft Suite of Office Products now includes Critical Circuit Detector (CCD) Technology™ - the purpose of which is to detect when the user is performing a critically important task and then introduce an error whose severity and length is directly proportional to both how important the task is and how time critical it may be.

And you are sure your piece of text wasn't DRM protected?
