Mounting an ISO image.


Hi:
Is there a way of mounting an ISO image generated by mkisofs -J ... in windows, say XP? Thanks in advance.

There is DAEMON Tools and also there is a
way to do it with a Windows utility butI don't recall the
name of it at the moment oh wait I think it is Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel.

Conventional thing would be to loop mount it:

mount -t iso9660 -o loop fileName.iso /Mount/Point/

Oh Christ, did you mean mount it in Windows?

Yes, I did. If I had bought Windows, I would (or should) have the manual. And perhaps there I'd found a cli command to mount the image. But I only use Windows as an auxiliary tool. Perharps typing 'help' in the cli (cmd.exe I think) I'd find the command.

If only trying to look into files without running,

My Computer
right click cd or dvd
scroll to "explore" click on it
