I remember a while ago that microsoft was going to stop supporting win98.
Does that help linux community in any way to make several microsoft based software work under linux systems or not ? would that be of some advantage for reverse engeneering ? maybe programs like wine would work better? That, i think would be great, cause i wouldn't mind running old software from win98 generation on linux ! Sorry if i am a bit out of topic but for quite some time i have been wondering to ask these questions, more or less, i hope you understand.

regards

mario
