I have no idea what to write, I know a lot more about linux server but not much about microsoft. Can anyone please help how to answer this? thanks.

If you're not aware of the difference between a client and a server, you're going to have a bad time! :)

your laptop is a client, the web systems running linuxquestions.org are the servers. They serve data to your client.

Microsoft have loads of different systems which form either client or server roles. IIS is a server, IE is a client. Given that we can't write your assignment for you, I'm not sure what else we can really tell you.
