Microsoft Cluster Servers


When I logged on to LQ today there was this advertisement displayed on the page
Microsoft Cluster Server

On navigating to the link I saw Get the Facts on Windows Server and Linux

This has serious "out-of-context" potential -- this guy may have been saying this as a good thing about Linux even. However, he might also just be one of the elusive "Windows Fanboys," meaning he might have a predilection towards Windows.

AT my place of employment, we have the kind of support that Microsoft has in mind when they promote their servers this way: when somebody who DOES have knowledge of computers (me) calls to find out why (for example) the server is not responding or DOESN'T EXIST because the IT people sent out the wrong information, nobody on the other end of the phone knows why.
