microsoft bypassing hosts file?

example on digg i added analytics.live.com to block that site, good it blocks however going to http://analytics.live.com/Analytics/msAnalytics.js it bypasses the hosts file? It's odd isn't it? shouldn't it block the whole url?

So what do you think - does it work on ur end when blocking with a hosts file?

I: am running intrepid 8.10 by the way...

edit: n/m - stupid FF2 and it was a cache issue... ;) perhaps, however FF/Mozilla team discontinued FF2 updates...

Trying upgrading to FF 3 ... It's much better than FF 2 anyways!
(And "update supported" too)

on xp it dose redirecting all of them back to 127.0.0.1
but ad block plus dose a good job

and priyaunni ff 2 or 3 makes no difference to the host file .
and i am beginning to think you are a spammer
