matrix revolutions

Just saw the movie. I won't say any thing to spoil the plot. Just to ask if someone else have seen it as well.

Waiting til Monday to go see so I don't have to fight loud, rude, crowds and I can sit back at Alamo Draft House, drink a beer, eat some dinner while watching the movie..

*haven't seen it yet* I don't think it will be as good as the first one. The second one had way too much fighting/chase scenes (30 minutes...) and way too little plot.

I found it disappointing. Won't say any thing else.
The first one is absolutely the best.

well it's " disappointing" to hear that, i bet i know what happens, neo manages to save the world but....

the question is, what does that mean, as in what actually happens....

somehow, based on what i've seen in the backlog in the anamatrix, the machines are not necessarily the bad guys in the end, that a truce is established, and the machines end up freeing the human slaves after neo changes the sky or gets sacrifies himself in the process...

remember, i haven't seen it yet so don't spoil it for me but this is my best guess

- perry

ps.
while the special effects and storyline are interesting it's the underlying philosophical aspects to it that intrigue me the most....!

perry, you are correct, that's what it sais.
Complete translation :

There is no god except god (Allah)
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah
Ali, the master of the believers is from Allah

Funny that you should ask that. How many of you people think there is an religious dimension to the matrix?

i think the matrix goes much further than just 'religions dimensions' it's really causing people to think outside of the box. as a former die hard fundamentalists myself, i greatly appreciate movies like the matrix. another fine example is the work that russell crowe is involved in. in each of his major projects, the gladiator, beautiful mind and now master and commander, russell isn't just acting, he's reliving.

as a species we have to start learning from our past otherwise the universe will just keep repeating itself.

with respect to religion, because of sept 11, i utterly refuse to acknowledge anything to do with religion, christian, muslim, jewish. i am however very very thankful for the work of deepack choprah and other independent sources like him coming from the well educated world.

it is my firm belief that the more education a man or woman has, the higher quality of life they and those around them can expect.

religion for me is not different than a which hunt.

cheers

- perry
