I just read in "Reason" magazine that Texas is actually considering prohibiting CBD oil (sole exception - epileptics) despite that it literally has no psychoactive substance in it. Kinda makes me wonder if any hemp products will also be illegal. I wonder also if Texas would consider secession even though there are no Sam Houstons around like last time to demonize. That might be best for all involved (sorry, roky, but your home state is one weird place... no wonder you choose to live out in the boonies, just like I do in my weird state of Virginia)

George Hanson: They're not scared of you. They're scared of what you represent to 'em.

Billy: Hey, man. All we represent to them, man, is somebody who needs a haircut.

George Hanson: Oh, no. What you represent to them is freedom.

Billy: What the hell is wrong with freedom? That's what it's all about.

George Hanson: Oh, yeah, that's right. That's what's it's all about, all right. But talkin' about it and bein' it, that's two different things. I mean, it's real hard to be free when you are bought and sold in the marketplace. Of course, don't ever tell anybody that they're not free, 'cause then they're gonna get real busy killin' and maimin' to prove to you that they are. Oh, yeah, they're gonna talk to you, and talk to you, and talk to you about individual freedom. But they see a free individual, it's gonna scare 'em.

Billy: Well, it don't make 'em runnin' scared.

George Hanson: No, it makes 'em dangerous. Buh, neh! Neh! Neh! Neh! Swamp!

No need to be sorry. I think the same of my state and northern east coast and west coast as there are more laws than people. People are just durn crazy anymore.

Just a example on how close some came to making George Orwell do the jig dance in grave . Just to feel safer.

Edit: Because the hell is paved with busy body good intentions.

https://www.denverpost.com/2018/05/0...un-bill-fails/

Having myself personally been presumed guilty till I proved myself innocent dealing with child protective services and then once again with child support. That is what we need. Witch hunt legislation. To feel safer.

People are just crazy. It is bad enough I have to wall in my property while living in a small town in the city limits. Too keep my dogs and motorcycles safe from riff raff.
No. More laws can't fix that situation.

Funny part is. I am going to Colorado next month to hang out with my younger brother for a bit.
Hope I don't get locked up.
I told my Mom about my plans for that trip yesterday when on the phone with her for Mothers day.
Her reply was, " You are not riding the motorcycle there! They will kill you !"

Bless her heart.

Just when you think the South Australian Government can't get any dumber, you would be wrong...

They have already lost "the war on drugs" and want to cut public spending, and now their answer is to increase penalties on pot offenses. *ssholes!

That's going to solve the "drug problem"...

I'll be glad when I have the $$$ to leave this god-forsaken state!

In my book and all others, laws are make-believe... some just make cents‽

Grow permit (medical) 10 plants at a time, 1 lb dried on hand
Oct. 2018 - legal recreational, just like booze, every adult gets to grow 4 plants at a time

Who'd a thunk back in '68 that we would be legally growing shitloads?
