There are now so many hits on any search engine that I can't pick just one but if the records of Colorado and California is any indica-tion the combined effects of legalization, particularly with the emphasis on both medicals like CBD oil and tailored euphoria like edibles, reducing alcoholism and harm reduction for other drugs as well, plus the huge tax income that actually has the potential to bail out Cali's ailing economy is all going to make a very significant impact. All it will take is a handful of other states hungry for tax bux and harm reduction to climb onboard and and since we are talking about BILLIONS of dollars, Big Pharma is not likely to ignore such a cash cow and one of the largest lobbies in the US will move to influence government and public opinion.
I hope Nixon and Harry Anslinger are "rolling in their graves". It's rather sad and amazing how long it is taking to undo all the harm each has caused but "Truth will Out".
I find it kinda unreal that legalized gambling is more acceptable than weed use.
< Trump Towers and Casino, Atlantic City >
Old ladies camped out on slot machines donating their social security checks. If I wanna gamble. I can cross the state line into New Mexico.
Morality can be kinda picky depending on the judge I guess. Capitalism makes allowances when there is money to made. Texas though. We don't like gambling or weed. Oxycontin? Xanax? That's OK. Readily available for anyone with a doc's script. All I gotta do is say, " I wanna".
I won't though. I don't like the hangover. Never mind the other effects. I get more work done when high on weed. My muscles don't ache when doing heavy lifting or bending knees or kneeling.
The State that I live in recently (finally!) made CBD oil legal for which my initial reaction was angry laughter. It's about freakin TIME! The laughter is for how ridiculous it is that it was ever illegal since 1) It contains no psychoactive ingredient that The Puritans wish to "protect' us from, 2) Is now widely proven to help with a variety of conditions afflicting millions, and not to mention it's a damned plant! Just how does one justify making a naturally occurring plant eaten by insects and mammals alike as harmful, let alone punishable by fine and incarceration?
The only saving grace of this absurd need for legislation is that it passed unanimously. Maybe, just maybe, this indicates the first step in seeing this herb for what it is, having nearly zero in common with "dangerous drugs"... either that or it's just the increased tax income persuading these Nixonian politicians and other thoughtless, heartless sheep.
Loos like a lot of effort to get a simple result. Propane torch? Heat the rod? Then it burns the weed. Reminds me of Buffalo Bill in the Silence of the lambs.
I just aint hip to these new gadgets. But I can roll a spliff out of anything near at hand. A store receipt even. No. I aint partying this weekend. I got a bike that needs building. Root Beer instead of beer. I don't smoke cigs.
Have fun JSB. Don't get soooooo wrecked you get surprised and caught off guard by the time change this weekend if in the USA.
I have a Herb Iron (kinda like a wood burner but a ceramic tip) with a glass attachment to funnel pure heat from 120v,,, vaporization is where it's at plus healthier.
Have fun! It's my one night off after weeks of 7s @ 10 and 12s... (yay double time) yawn.
Salvia Divinorum (as an educated user) in my bowl for sweet dreams tonight.
