Mac Terminal Help

Hi guys. I'm trying to install an update through mac with terminal but i'm getting an "installer: invalid option /Volumes/Mac OS X"

This is what I have when I use df -h:
/Volumes/Mac OS X
/Volumes/Mac OS X 10.4.11 Combined Update (Intel)

And this is the code i'm using:
/Volumes/Mac\ OS\ X\usr/sbin/installer -pkg /Volumes/Mac\ OS\ X\ 10.4.11\ Combined\ Update\ \(Intel\)\ -target /Volumes/Mac\ OS\ X

Any ideas as to why it isnt installing? Oh, and the reason im doing this is because of that missing ACPI kernel panic error when updating to 10.4.11.
