Looks like we may survive the present after all.

can anyone give me a series of viable timelines and probability ratings given this advance?

I am given renewed hope for mankind.....finally.

.... slow human metabolism almost to a standstill , but just enough to reproduce in-order to be able to produce without consuming much .......
finally the End Of History is a reality , human society and the world will be much less complex , much safer , much less troublesome and muddy with the untamed and the untutored one being reduced to mere scientifically supervised biological reproductive organs( a logical later discovery ) which the untamed and the untutored one simply call it a Dick while the rest of the human society and the world will enjoy , for the first time in human history , the Rights of having an authentic Thinking Brain.

I'm going the other way.

Open heart surgery with no bleeding, no need for equipment to run your blood and lungs. A million other medical opportunities come to mind.

Long term transport and exploration of space. Instead of 6 months of boredom and possible mental breakdown.... and low G tolerance--Your flight takes 3 months, you wake up feeling it took only 1 day. "are we there yet?"

Time out's....take a 5 year break from civilization, come back later....maybe it will be less fucked up than when you went to sleep.
