Looking for virtual browser or virtual Linux

I have Windows 10 desktop computer and Windows 7 desktop computer that I have to work on for him to be locked down and have no internet connection.

He needs it for school.

There is site I must go to that may have malware and looking for virtual browser or virtual Linux I can run for him.

This is some thing we are doing with him part of the learning.

Windows has been working on various means to let a user run posix or other linux subsystems. It now includes the ability to run some linux distros. Is that what you mean?

Windows has had many free virtual machine programs to run linux within that program. Virtualbox, virtualpc, vmware and such.

Pull the cable/plug/wire

Take "him" out of the Administrators group.
Deactivate the Windows networking.
